Boarding

During your dog's stay, we will make sure they receive the utmost in quality care. Our main focus is on security, health and safety.

We are fully licensed, and have comprehensive insurance and vet cover.

We make sure that your pets get lots of attention and stimulation, and have fun!  We have a large outdoor exercise yard with lots of toys for them, and acres of lovely farmland to take them for walks.

(The cuddles are free of charge!)

We are a small friendly team with the time to care.

Vaccinations/Medical

On arrival, owners must produce an up to date annual booster DHPPI vaccination certificate, which includes Kennel Cough, given a minimum of 14 days prior to boarding.  Unfortunately, we are unable to board any dog without proof of vaccinations.

No dog will be accepted unless in good health.  If on arrival, the health of any dog is causing concern, the kennel management reserves the right to refuse admission.

Any dog requiring veterinary attention in the opinion of the Kennel Management will be taken to your own vet, if local, during opening hours, or to the Kennel vets, Milfeddygon Deufor in Y Ffor, Pwllheli.

Owners will be liable for all consultation, treatment and travel costs.  Payments made on your behalf by the Kennel Management must be paid for in full before the dog can be released.

Please ensure you leave an emergency contact number in case we cannot contact you directly.

If your dog is currently on medication or supplements, we are happy to administer this with your consent, unless it is for a contagious disease where the dog will not be accepted.

Belongings

Everything your dog requires for their stay with us is provided.

We understand that dogs may enjoy the comfort of familiar items during their time away from home.  We kindly ask for your co-operation in limiting the amount of belongings you send with your dog, to a few favourite items (toy, blanket) which are labelled with your dog’s name and that it can be laundered and/or sanitised.

Whilst we will take the upmost care of your items, we cannot however guarantee it will be returned in the same condition.

All dogs must be wearing a collar with id - No choke chains please.

We do have a premium wet and dry food available, however we recommend you bring in your dogs normal food, so as not to disrupt their routine and potentially cause a tummy upset.

If your dog has special dietary requirements, ie. wheat or gluten free, please provide your own food.

We have plenty of fridge and freezer space should you wish to bring any fresh/raw or frozen food.

The dogs are fed twice a day unless requested differently.

Excercise/Environment Enrichment

We excel in great walks!

We believe the dogs mental health and wellbeing is the most important part of their stay with us.  It's what helps to make them feel relaxed and in turn their kennel experience is a positive one.

The dogs are walked twice a day, mornings and afternoons, around acres of our secure farm land.

They will be lead walked using extendable leads or normal leads and harnesses.

We do group walks or individual walks, whichever suits your dogs requirements.

We have a large, secure exercise yard which the dogs will spend time exploring and playing, with a good variety of play equipment.

Within the kennels we sometimes use stuffed Kongs, snuffle mats and treat puzzle balls/toys.

During hot weather the dogs can enjoy hosepipe, pool and frozen treats.

Daily Routine

We pride ourselves that we go the extra mile in giving our special guests extra time with our daily routine.  We have a sociable kennels set up and often we run dogs that we know well together or give shy, nervous dogs separate walks.  Dogs are never left alone for too long.

We excel in our kennel hygiene.  All the kennels are thoroughly cleaned using specialist disinfectants.  The dogs bedding is checked twice a day and any soiled bedding is removed and replaced.
